The Advance Termite Inspection Cartridge (TIC) is a pre-bait monitoring cartridge used in the Advance Termite Bait System (ATBS) to detect termite activity around structures before active baiting begins. Each cartridge contains 93 grams of Puri-Cell® cellulose monitoring matrix, a highly attractive food source that draws foraging subterranean termites into the station.
Once termite activity is confirmed, the TIC can be easily replaced with an Advance Termite Bait Cartridge containing active ingredient to begin colony elimination. Designed for use exclusively in Advance Termite Bait Stations, the cartridge’s clear plastic housing allows quick and simple visual inspections.
Even when wet or expanded in the ground, the monitoring tablets remain palatable to termites and continue to attract feeding. Cartridges should be inspected every 90 days and replaced every 12–15 months regardless of activity.
