Summit Mosquito Dunks are floating Bti briquets for controlling label-listed mosquito larvae in standing water. This package contains 20 dunks formulated with Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israelensis, a microbial larvicide that is released gradually as each briquet floats and breaks down. A full dunk treats up to 100 square feet of water surface and can remain active for 30 days or longer under label conditions.
Use whole or broken portions according to surface area: the label assigns one-quarter dunk to 1–5 square feet, one-half to 5–25 square feet, and one full dunk to 25–100 square feet. Permitted sites include listed birdbaths, rain barrels, roof gutters, unused pools, tires, flowerpot saucers, animal watering troughs, and water gardens. Apply before adult mosquitoes emerge and replace material at the label interval. Do not use in treated drinking water, and do not exceed the site directions simply because larvae remain visible immediately after application.
