Its crumbled formula supplies nitrogen, phosphate, potash, and calcium for planned pre-plant fertility programs across several beds or successive plantings. The bulk package reduces the need to purchase multiple smaller bags.
The product is derived from feather meal, meat and bone meal, and mined potassium sulfate. Nutrients release gradually, making the bulk package useful for several beds, orchard plantings, or repeated applications when rates are calculated from soil conditions and crop needs. Account for nutrients already supplied by compost, cover crops, manure, or earlier fertilizer applications.
