The RESCUE Reusable Yellowjacket Trap uses a species-targeted scent lure and a two-chamber design to capture major yellowjacket species outdoors. The included liquid attractant is placed on the supplied cotton ball. Yellowjackets enter through openings in the bottom, move into the clear upper chamber, and cannot readily exit. The trap contains no insecticidal killing agent; captured insects expire inside the chamber.
Hang the trap away from patios, doors, play areas, animal enclosures, and other occupied spaces so the lure draws yellowjackets away from people. Placement and lure life depend on temperature, sun exposure, wind, and pest activity. The initial lure generally lasts two to four weeks under normal conditions. Check the trap regularly and service it only after confirming that all captured insects are dead. Empty, rinse if desired, and rebait with the compatible refill according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
