Weed Zap in the one-gallon size supplies a concentrated, nonselective botanical herbicide for growers treating larger weeded areas or making repeated applications. It is intended for foliar contact with broadleaf and grassy weeds described in the manufacturer’s information. The formulation acts on green tissue, so it should not contact wanted crops, ornamentals, turf, seedlings, suckers, or other desirable vegetation.
Use calibrated spray equipment that can deliver uniform coverage while limiting drift. Dilute only at the current manufacturer rate and mix the amount needed for the treatment area. Weed Zap performs best on smaller herbaceous weeds in open conditions; established plants may require additional management. Do not assume that a plant is protected because its lower stem is woody—green bark, foliage, buds, and exposed roots can still be injured. Avoid spraying in wind or where runoff could move the product outside the target zone. Check equipment materials before use because the formulation may soften polystyrene plastics.
