Weed Zap is a quart-size, nonselective contact herbicide concentrate for spot treatment of broadleaf and grassy weeds. The botanical formulation contains clove-oil-based ingredients and acts on green plant tissue, making careful placement essential. Use it only on weeds and sites described by the manufacturer, and shield nearby vegetables, flowers, lawns, young bark, and other desirable growth from spray or drift.
This smaller container is convenient for paths, bed edges, fence lines, and other targeted areas where a hand sprayer can provide controlled coverage. Mix the concentrate with water at the current manufacturer rate, then wet the target foliage evenly. Young, actively growing weeds generally provide a better treatment target than mature plants. Because Weed Zap is nonselective, overspray can injure any green vegetation it contacts. Apply in suitable weather, avoid windy conditions, and clean equipment promptly. The product may soften polystyrene plastics, so confirm that the sprayer and measuring equipment are compatible before mixing.
