This RESCUE Yellowjacket Attractant Refill provides a four-week supply for the compatible reusable yellowjacket trap. The package contains two liquid vials, each intended to last approximately two weeks under normal conditions. The lure attracts major yellowjacket species into the trap; it is not a standalone trap and should not be opened or placed without the compatible housing and cotton-ball setup.
Replace the attractant when its service period ends, the liquid evaporates, or trapping performance declines. Actual life varies with heat, sun exposure, wind, and local yellowjacket activity. Before opening the trap, verify that all captured insects are dead. Empty and clean the chamber as directed, apply one refill vial to the cotton ball, and reassemble the trap before returning it to its outdoor location. Position the trap away from frequently occupied areas and keep the concentrated lure away from eyes, skin, children, and animals.
