Attenuated strain vaccine that is not quite a killed vaccine or a full-blown modified live vaccine. Oral vaccination of healthy newborn calves, or for intramuscular vaccination of pregnant cows, as an aid in passive maternal immunization of their calves against neonatal calf diarrhea (scours) caused by bovine rotavirus and bovine coronavirus.
