Therm X-70 is a one-quart liquid yucca extract used as a wetting agent and soil conditioner in irrigation, transplanting, and foliar programs. The manufacturer’s label identifies 20% saponin extracted from Yucca schidigera with 80% other water-soluble ingredients; “X-70” does not mean the bottle contains 70% active yucca extract. It is an adjuvant and soil-management input, not a fertilizer or pesticide.
For routine soil application, the label lists 16 ounces per acre, with a 32-ounce first treatment for saline, alkaline, or difficult-to-wet ground. The foliar direction lists 8 ounces per 100 gallons of spray, while transplant and row-crop uses have their own instructions. Follow the current container label when combining it with fertilizers or crop-protection products, because the partner product’s label may limit adjuvant use. Yucca saponins can foam heavily; add the material carefully to agitated tanks and leave adequate headspace. Avoid eye, skin, or clothing contact, and do not swallow the concentrate.
